As you know, your characters gain experience from each fight, which allows them to level up and become increasingly more powerful.
If you want to save time and hasten their progress, the training rooms (recognizable by the symbol: ) are just the thing for you.
In these rooms, special rules are in place that allow you to play normally while increasing the speed at which your characters progress, without you having to reach an agreement with your opponent.
The training room rules are as follows:
- Each player starts the fight with 60 rather than 12 life points (which prevents a KO situation from an inconsiderate opponent occurring).
- Your characters' XP increase is calculated at the end of the round on their level and not on the opponent characters' levels (as a result, your opponent does not affect your rate of progress).
- The Leaders' Abilities are all deactivated, except for Vansaar's (therefore the XP win will increase if you have Vansaar in your hand)
- All your characters receive a 100 XP bonus if you win the match (to ensure that you have a good incentive to win).
- When your characters are selected from your Deck during a fight, Vansaar is always the first to be chosen, followed by the characters in evolution and finally, by the characters with a maximum level.
- The fights are not recorded in your fights/wins/defeats statistics
- Battle and clintz winnings are restricted to 1 point each (this is a training room after all!).
Here are the XP wins per match based on your characters' level:
- Level 1 character: 250 per fight (475 with Vansaar)
- Level 2 character: 300 per fight (570 with Vansaar)
- Level 3 character: 350 per fight (665 with Vansaar)
- Level 4 character: 400 per fight (760 with Vansaar)
The necessary XP for each level is as follows:
- Level 2: 500 XP
- Level 3: 1,500 XP
- Level 4: 3,000 XP
- Level 5: 5,000 XP
With regards to the EVO mode:
The non official "EVO" mode was used by a number of players in the past in order to maximize their characters' XP wins. This new way of training should resolve all the problems inherent in the "EVO" mode. No more need to reach an agreement, no more need to play in a mechanical way and above all, there's now a real incentive to win your fights.
